This policy describes how the TOEFL Idioms mobile app (“the Appâ€) handles information. The App is unofficial practice material and is not affiliated with ETS.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.
The App stores the following only on your device:
- Idioms you have marked as learned, favorite, or bookmarked
- Quiz questions you save
- Quiz questions you miss, so you can review them later
This data stays in local storage on your phone or tablet. It is not uploaded to our servers. We do not operate a backend for this App.
Internet, ads, and analytics
- The App works offline after installation.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
- We do not sell or share user data with third parties.
Children’s privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Learning progress is stored only on the device.
Data retention and deletion
Local progress remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes the locally stored progress.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
